The cheekbone and the zygomatic arch are formed by the zygomatic bone. This bone sits as the prominent prominence of the face, contributing to the lateral orbital rim and the cheek itself. It also has a temporal process that joins with the temporal bone’s zygomatic process to create the zygomatic arch, the curved bridge you can feel along the side of the skull. The other bones mentioned don’t form the cheek: the frontal bone makes the forehead and much of the orbital roof, the nasal bone forms the bridge of the nose, and the lacrimal bone is a small structure on the medial wall of the orbit.
